Tucked at one corner of the Mall right next to the Mall road and at the entrance of a narrow alleyway, Hotel Sunflower in Darjeeling is a good comfortable hotel offering modern amenities. The hotel have three floors at the lower levels. Although from outside the hotel does not look quite impressive, as you walk in through the main entrance and into the lobby, the finishing and ambience inside are quite appealing. The interior is mostly wood finished including on the ceilings. They have heated beds which really helps when it gets chilly. However don't expect any over the top ambience, the hotel is simple in that regard. Now coming to the location. If you want to actually enjoy and have fun in Darjeeling without worrying about traveling distances, then you would love this place. Located inside Mall Road, or Chowrasta all the major and iconic stores/cafes/restaurants are right next to it.Overall great place to sleep in the night if your main motive is to enjoy and roam around in Darjeeling.
Hotel Sunflower serves only pure vegetarian food and has an inhouse restaurant located at the reception level. It serves breakfast lunch and dinner.
