Tour Itinerary

Day - 1

Guwahati - Sohra

Arrival at Guwahati airport and drive to Sohra (Approx. 5 hours). Sohra perfectly captures the beauty of Meghalaya with it's lush green hills and mesmerizing waterfalls. On the way a short halt at Umiam lake for photo session and refreshments. The evenings are free for relaxation and walking around the resort area.

Day - 2

Sohra Sightseeing

Visit Dainthlen Falls and spend some time exploring the area then take a short 15 min trek towards the famous Wei Sawdong Falls. (Both falls are 20 minutes away from the resort). Spend the rest of the evening relaxing on the green meadows near the small rivers of the resort areas.

Day - 3

Sohra - Nohkalikai

Early departure for Nohkalikai Village where we begin the descent into Tyrna Village via the legendary 3600 steps. The trek takes roughly 4 hours to complete. Along the way we will be taking a dip in the crystal cleat water of Rainbow Falls, crossing gusing rivers over the Double Decker Root bridge and re-energizing with lemon juice shots from bamboo glasses.
Pick up from Tyrna village and back to the homestay in Nohkalikai Village.

Day - 4

Nohkalikai - Seven Sisters Waterfall

After an intense day of trekking, we spend a relaxing day at Seven Sisters Waterfall following which we head towards the beautiful Thangkharang Park where we will visit Kynrem Falls, one of the highest waterfall in India.

Day - 5

Seven Sisters Waterfall - Mawlynnong

Take an early start towards the village of Mawlynnong. Along the way take a quick detour towards Mawryngkhang to experience Meghalaya's most dangerous trek. The trek is about 4 hours start to finish and back. Continue towards the cleanest village in Asia and experience a slice of traditional Khasi village life.

Day - 6

Mawlynnong - Shillong

Continue the adventure by heading back to the Rock Capital of India Shillong and spend the day visiting the famous local sites try some local cuisine, street food and shopping at Police Bazar.

If cancellations are made 30 days or more prior to scheduled trip start date, you will get full refund minus Rs 500 service fee. For Homestay cancellations, we provide full refund minus service charge (Rs 500) if the cancellation is made before 30 days of scheduled arrival. Within 30 days of scheduled arrival, the cancellation policy will be as per the respective property cancellation policies. We will provide you these details via email before you book with us.
