Located in Bichu, Lachung, this homestay is comfortable and peaceful. Surrounded by a huge rock on the backside, which is mostly covered in snow, one can get a magnificent view of the farm and the grandeur of the mountains from the verandah of the rooms. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax or have a rejuvenating time with their family or hike across and get engulfed in the beauty of the mountains while getting the rich essence of Lachung’s Culture.

The homestay is a renovated part of Hissey’s ancestral home, tailor-made to provide an ethnic and unique experience of North Sikkim. The host runs a small family business of farming; they produce organic vegetables, which are used to prepare simple yet delicious local cuisines. He is a wonderful cook. The food is amazingly fresh as the vegetables are mostly from their farm. The property is small and there are only 3 rooms. So try and book beforehand so that you can stay in this heavenly place in Bichu, Lachung.

North Sikkim is a difficult terrain and when you are visiting it in the winter season, it becomes more difficult with subzero temperature ,sparse population and basic amenities. Even then, the hospitable hosts gives good service and food to its guests and ensures a comfortable stay in harsh weather conditions.
