The Nettle and Fern Farmstay

The Nettle and Fern Farmstay in Pelling, West Sikkim is an eco-friendly accommodation that has been built with the aim of preserving the natural beauty of the region. The farmstay is surrounded by lush greenery and is home to an organic farm that grows a variety of fruits and vegetables. The property is located in the quite side of Pelling in Chumbung. It has one of the most beautiful views of Mt. Kanchenjunga from the rooms. The rooms are big, modern, clean and the interior is very welcoming. The bathroom is also very spacious and clean, with a good hot water supply. The cottages are within the gardens of the property, and so you are surrounded by plants, greenery and if you are lucky, fully blooming Rhododendrons. Cottages are spread out to keep the privacy yet common area is there for guests to relax and enjoy bonfires (on request).

The Nettle and Fern Farmstay is very relaxing and rejuvenating place to stay in Pelling. In the morning you are awoken by the singing birds, which is really comforting. You can also get some amazing views of Mt. Kanchenjunga from the room especially in the morning. The restaurant/bar area is also very nice, and all food is very freshly prepared and tasty. The staff are very helpful and friendly too, and it's so easy to communicate with them from your room via what's app. Staff can also arrange bonfires in the evening upon request. Would highly recommend walking down into the villages surrounding the property as they are great, and the locals very friendly.
