This quiet homestay has four cozy rooms with attached bathrooms. A stocked kitchen is available where either the guests can choose to cook or have a cook arranged. The rooms are well furnished with basic amenities such as clean linens, towels, soaps, etc. The property is covered with large logs where one can sit, relax, have a bonfire night, camp etc. Overall the property is in a secluded area where one can simply enjoy being close to nature and reaping its benefits. Guests can engage and interact in daily activities of the locals, go for guided walks or enjoy an enthralling cultural performance by the local youth of the community.

About the Location
Lingtam is a picturesque village set between the valleys. Placed remarkably on the foothills of the Silk Route trails, the Lingtam River flows serenely across the village. About thirty houses dot the vicinity. Cozy houses and warm people greet your eyes as you first enter Lingtam. With a mix of different communities predominantly the Bhutia tribe, the village has both farmlands and forests. Reaching Dhungkar village homestay is a short drive from the village. A short hike from the road will lead to the peaceful eco-holiday homestay.
How to Reach
The first stop from Bagdogra/NJP is Rangpo which takes about 3 hours depending on traffic. From there, Lingtam, which is where Dhungkar Homestay is located, is an hours drive.
Things to Do
The Agamlok Gumba, a traditional Buddhist monastery stands majestic about a few kilometres from the main road. At 37 acres, Dhungkar Homestay is an expansive forested property. Guests can take guided and guided village walks, treks and hikes across the hilltop and witness spectacular nooks and crannies of the mountainside.
A 1.5hr trek leads the guests to Pokhri Dara which is a scenic destination for the hikers and picnic-enthusiast! The famed Aritar Lake is also close-by. The Lingtam-Phadamchen route leads one to the historical Silk Route, Dzuluk.

No. We are really sorry but currently we do not provide flight or train booking facilities
50% advance payment needs to be made to book the tour package. For homestay booking, guests need to pay 20% advance if they are booking 30 days prior to scheduled arrival. Within 30 days of scheduled stay, guests need to pay full amount to book the accommodation.
