  • Dehing Patkai Wildlife Sanctuary - This wildlife sanctuary in Assam has three parts – Dirok rainforest, upper Dihing River and Jeypore. The rainforest has a wide variety of flora which includes various species of orchids and bananas. It is also rich in its fauna, as there are more than 290 species of birds, 47 species of mammals, 47 reptile species and 30 species of butterflies.
  • Barbarua Maidam - Some 13 km from Dibrugarh, Barbarua Maidam is a renowned historical site in the city. The site has two main graveyards of two high-ranking officials from Ahom Dynasty. The size of their graves are quite large. Along with that, it also includes a number of graves of some other lower ranking officials. The Maidam beautifully reflect the royalty and aristocracy in their structure and design.
  • Namphake Village - Located just about 35 km from Dibrugarh, it is renowned for being home to many Tai Phakey families. The people living in this beautiful village are avid followers of Buddhism. The Buddhist Monastery located here is recognised as an important meditation centre in the region. Besides, the abundant natural beauty that surrounds the village makes this place even more charming.
  • Radha Krishna Temple - Situated in Jalan Nagar area,this Hindu shrine is known for its religious significance along with the spectacular white architecture. The beautiful green gardens that surround the temple add a unique charm to its beauty. The serenity enveloping this place makes it perfect for mediation and relaxation.
  • Joypur Rainforest - Extending over an extensive area of 108 sq km, it is known for its diverse flora and fauna. The forest is dotted with more than 100 species of hollong trees and orchids. Along with that, it also serves as the dwelling land of numerous wild creatures including leopard, spotted deer, elephant, langur, python, hornbill and flying squirrel.
  • Shri Jagannath Temple - Located in Taor Gaon, Shri Jagannath Temple is a replica of the one with the same name in Puri. It is one of the highly revered religious places in Dibrugarh. The temple is known for its calm atmosphere and spiritual environment. One can come and spend a few hours meditating here. Built in red stone, the architecture of the temple is another thing to watch out for.
  • Naharkatia Town - The town got its name from an incident where Kalia, an Ahom noble, beheaded Prince Nahar. At present, it is reckoned to be one of the popular picnic spots in Dibrugarh. Sasoni Gojpuria, Merill Eco-Tourism and Gobhuro Dolong are some of the popular tourist places located around Naharkatia Town.
