About The Tour

Annapurna Base Camp, also known as Annapurna sanctuary, is a wonderful trek that takes you to the Base Camp of the immense south face of Annapurna I (8,091m), the 10th highest mountain in the world. The trail passes through cultivated fields and beautiful forests of oak, magnolia, and rhododendron of the Annapurna region. You will walk through banks of pristine rivers, mountain pastures, dip into natural hot springs, slate-roofed tropical villages and encounter a caravan of mules carrying necessary supplies to remote villages. Along the way, we meet friendly locals and exchange greetings 'Namaste'.
From the Base Camp of Annapurna, trekkers can enjoy the up-close view of 10 peaks over 6,000m that includes Hiunchuli, Fang, Annapurna Ill, Machhapuchhare (Mount Fish Tail), and many other peaks. Moreover, while on the trek we come across the most prominent ethnic groups of people like Gurung, Thakali, and others permanently living in the Annapurna area.

Day - 1

Arrival at Kathmandu

On the first day, you'll arrive in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, likely at Tribhuvan International Airport.
After clearing immigration and customs, you'll be met by a representative who will transfer you to your hotel. You'll have some free time to rest, explore the city, and make any last-minute preparation for your trek.

Fly to Pokhara, Drive to Nayapool (1070m) and commence trek to Ghandruk (1940m)

Fly to Pokhara, Drive to Nayapool (1070m) and commence trek to Ghandruk (1940m)

From Pokhara, you'll embark on a scenic drive to Nayapool, which is the starting point of your trek. The trek begins with a hike to Ghandruk, a picturesque Gurung village known for its stunning views of the Annapurna and Machapuchare peaks.

Ghandruk to Chhomrung (2170m)

Ghandruk to Chhomrung (2170m)

On this day, you'll continue your trek from Ghandruk to Chhomrung. Chhomrung is another charming village along the trekking route, and you'll have more opportunities to enjoy the local culture and hospitality.

Fly back to Kathmandu

Take a domestic flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu, providing another opportunity to enjoy the scenic mountain views.
Back in Kathmandu, you can explore more of the city or do some last-minute souvenir shopping.

Note: You will have the option to depart to your final destination the same day.
