Day - 1

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railway station.
Meet your driver and begin your scenic drive toward Todey–Tangta (approx. 130 km / 4 hrs).
The route winds through Malbazar and Jhalong, offering stunning views of tea gardens, forests, and mountain rivers.
Stop for tea or a quick snack at scenic viewpoints along the Jaldhaka River.
Arrive at Todey or Tangta by evening — two peaceful villages nestled in the lap of the Neora Valley Reserve Forest near the Bhutan border.
Check-in to your homestay surrounded by cardamom plantations and forested hills.
Evening free to relax and enjoy a traditional Nepali–Bhutia dinner with your hosts.

After an early breakfast, drive to Parengtar village (approx. 1.5–2 hrs) for the Kholeydai Festival — one of the most colorful rural cultural events of the Jaldhaka region.
Spend the day experiencing local folk dances, traditional food, music, crafts, and games, while interacting with the warm village communities of Dooars.
Walk to the Kholey Dai viewpoint to witness the stunning confluence of Bhutanese hills and Bengal’s lush green valleys.
Visit nearby Parengtar homestays or riverside cafes for lunch (traditional Nepali/Bhutanese thali recommended).
Drive back to Todey–Tangta by evening.

Lunch at a local eatery near Jholung.
Drive through Samsing and Suntalekhola, dotted with beautiful tea estates, forest trails, and mountain viewpoints.
Head toward Gorubathan or Fagu for your overnight stay in a riverside or tea garden homestay.

Cross the border gate to visit the charming Bhutanese town of Phuentsholing (entry allowed up to certain points without permit for Indian nationals).
Visit the Zangto Pelri Lhakhang monastery, Crocodile Park,Palden Tashi Chholing Tsuglagkhang
and Amo Chhu River viewpoint.
Shop for Bhutanese handicrafts, incense, and chocolates in the local market. Try Bhutanese cuisine for lunch at a local eatery.
Return to Jaigaon for overnight stay; enjoy a quiet evening stroll through the bazaar area.
