Srinagar to Daksum & Sinthan Top
Day - 1

Srinagar to Daksum & Sinthan Top

Proceed for a full day excursion to Daksum and Sinthan Top from Srinagar.  It is a 4 hour drive from Srinagar to Daksum and about 2 hour driver from Daksum to Sinthan top. Sinthan top is the highest pass connecting Kashmir with Jammu via Kishtwar.  The curvy uphill drive from Daksum to Sinthan Top is pretty thrilling and adventurous. Sinthan top is popular for the 360 degrees view and year round snow. Adventure enthusiasts can plan for mountaineering and skiing here. Late afternoon, return back to Daksum. Daksum swathed in coniferous green forests is a trekkers pardise.

Day - 2

Arrive at Warwan Valley via Margan Top(14000 ft approx)

Today, we journey to the renowned Warwan Valley via Margan Top, another high altitude pass connecting Kashmir to the valley. Driving time approximately 3-4 hours. Warwan valley is a relatively untouched region of Kashmir which remains inaccessible for approximately 7 months during winter. But in summer, it unveils its vast, lush grasslands, snow-capped mountains, and quaint village settlements. The village life here retains its ancient charm with traditional farming practices and rustic mud-and-log houses. Warwan Valley promises an extraordinary offbeat experience and is widely regarded as one of the most stunning places in Kashmir.

Adventure enthusiasts can explore four high-altitude alpine lakes to the left of the pass. (This is an optional trek). Upon descending, immerse yourself in the local life of the grand Inshan valley before spending the night at Warwan.

Day - 3

Explore Warwan Valley

Delve deeper into the valley and visit Sukhnai Village, the last village in the area. This picturesque village boasts a humble lifestyle, lush landscapes, river streams, and snow-capped mountains, offering a glimpse of untouched natural beauty. Experience the warm hospitality of the local Gujjar community and gain insights into their traditional lifestyle. The journey from Warwan Valley to Sukhnai village takes about three hours one way, but once you arrive, you will need to walk into the village since the roads are not fully accessible by vehicle. It’s important to remember that walking is necessary to reach the village due to the road conditions. Return back to spend the night at Warwan.

Arrive at Lolab. Explore Kupwara
Day - 4

Arrive at Lolab. Explore Kupwara

After breakfast, we travel to Lolab, a valley known for its serenity and unique experiences. Driving time approximately 5-6 hours (200+ kms).  Explore the enigmatic Kalaroos Caves and Sadbaran, as well as the vast paddy fields and charming village settlements. • Indulge in local cuisine, such as trout fish or local saag, before spending the night at Lolab.

Drive to Keran Valley
Day - 5

Drive to Keran Valley

Embark on a journey to Keran Valley, where you will be in close proximity to Pakistan. Driving time approximately 2-3 hours (70 kms).. The Kishangaga River serves as the boundary between the two countries, allowing you to observe the neighbouring houses, people, and cars. Walk up to Cobra Post to see the border to the closest. Experience the unique opportunity to interact with the other side before concluding your day.

Day - 6

Departure return for Srinagar

Post breakfast depart for the capital city of Srinagar. Driving distance is 110 kms approximately 3-4 hours. Check in to your houseboat/hotel and rest up for the afternoon.
