Hee Bermiok explorations

This day, we recommend for a nice easy village hike. The host will be more than happy to arrange this. The homestay here serves excellent meals and their traditional kitchen is a lovely spot to spend an evening. Homestays here are excellent at cooking up local delicacies and you can opt to just relax as well.

Day - 3

Hee Bermiok to Yuksom via Pelling

Post breakfast depart for Yuksom. We believe that for those seeking a nice quiet space avoiding the crowds of Pelling, we recommend a stay at Yoksum (Yoksum was the first capital of Sikkim and is base for the famous Tsokha - Goechala – Kanchendzonga Base Camp Trek). There are some sights of interest one can visit on the way like Singshore Bridge, Skywalk, Kechoperi Lake and Kanchenjunga waterfalls. Arrive Yuksom by early evening.

Yuksom explorations

Post breakfast, explore the sights and sounds of Yuksom. It is a quiet town and certainly has a charming atmosphere. We recommend a day of walking today. Yuksom walks are fairly easy and most people can do it with no need for any special fitness levels. Sights of interest are like Kathok Lake, Norbu Ghang Coronation & Dubdi Monastery.

Yuksom to Ravangla

Post breakfast leave for Ravangla. Yuksom to Ravangla is approx. 3hrs journey. Arrive Ravangla by noon time and afternoon you can do some walk to Seven mirror lake & Doling monastery. This walk will be approx. 10 minutes one way.

Today you can visit Temi Tea Garden (Temi Tea Garden in Temi, established in 1969 by the Government of Sikkim, is located in South Sikkim in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim. It is the only tea garden in Sikkim and is considered one of the best in India and the world. Top quality tea is produced, which is in demand in the international market). Buddha Park (The Buddha Park of Ravangla, also known as Tathagata Tsal, is situated near Ravangla in South Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim.

It was constructed between 2006 and 2013, and features a 130-foot-high (40 m) statue of the Buddha, erected to mark the 2550th anniversary of the birth of Gautama Buddha, as its main attraction. The statue, built of 60 tonnes of copper, is an example of repousse work. Mount Narsing forms the backdrop to the statue. Evening is leisure time
