This magnificent trek will take insight into the remote Spiti and Pin valleys of Himanchal Pradesh. Lush green Kullu valley, the starkly beautiful Spiti valley, visiting the ancient Key monastery and scattered little villages are rewarding. After crossing the Bhaba pass the landscape changes dramatically with the barren lunarscape of Spiti being replaced by the thick forest of Pine, cedar and deodar. Tour Itinerary

Day - 1

Shimla to Kafnu ( At 6,843.8 ft )

Wake up early in the morning and head to Kafnu ( place in Kinnaur valley ) to reach by early evening . Drive through small villages which comes after crossing the Wangtu Bridge. After visiting the famous Bhimakali Temple in Sarhan you enter Kafnu. The road head finishes here at Kafnu and from here onward begins the famous Bhabha Valley trek. Spend the day to unwind and prep your gear for next days trek.

Day - 2

Pull up your sock and off to Mulling ( At 10,759 ft )

The trek leads to Mulling, which is almost (5-6) hours walk including a steep climb through the forests of pine, birch and cedar and finally on to the banks of river Bhabha. Further, from Mulling one treks to Phustirang -again 5-6 hours, along a constricted path and after crossing a small river reaches Bhabha pass.

Day - 3

Kara Calling (At 11,677 ft )

You might not be able to take your eyes off Kara. This exciting day of the Bhaba Pass Trek, brace yourself for some fun river crossings where you will have to make way through natural bridges. Enjoy the sights of vibrant alpine blossoms. You might also get to meet some local shepherds who adorn traditional outfits. Arrive at Kara meadow after a steady climb. Once there, lap up the sights of stunning peaks that lie on the border of Kinnaur and Spiti.

Day - 4

Off to Phustirang (At 13,776 ft )

This day, start from Kara and enjoy the trek to Phustirang. Expect breath-taking sights as you make your way on the river’s left bank to arrive at Phustirang. Witness the mighty Hansbeshan Peak that perches at 5,840m. Arrive at the camp ground during the earlier part of the evening and unwind.

Day - 5

Pin Bhaba Pass (At 15,912 ft )

The day we cross the famous Bhabha pass to reach Bhaldur ( At 12,795.3 ft) The trek from Phustirang to Bhaldur is a two hours steep climb to the top of Bhabha pass and then into the Pin Valley of Spiti. The trek then leads to Gurguru (4-5 hours) and then to Mudh- the first village of Spiti and is a 4-5 hours trek from Gurguru.

Day - 6

The mighty Mudh, here we are ( At 12,270.3 ft )

Today, you delight in a light trek to Mudh. The terrain that surrounds you is breath-taking. Witness purple hued mountains, Pinriver meandering and endless open spaces.Enjoy the charming hamlet of Mudh, post which you will be driven to Kaza. Once here, you will head to the hotel and get refreshed and stay the night there and explore this quaint little village.

Day - 7

Downtown Kaza ( At 11,980 ft )

Reach Kaza, explore this town overlooked by high mountain ridges on all sides. Head out to the Ki Monastery and Kibber.

Day - 8

Kaza to Manali

Early morning drive to Manali and reach by early evening. Trek ends here. When these journeys turn out to be as great as the destinations. It's a real pleasure. Ah ! Nirvana
