Wari Chora is a beautiful canyon in Emangre village located in the South Garo hills of Meghalaya. According to local myths, Wari Chora is called as home of the seven giant serpents which is recently discovered located in South Garo hills district of Meghalaya. This beautiful canyon is 45 feet deep and 500 metre long trail of deep ravine. Wari Chora’s Warri means a deep river and is situated at a drive distance of 7-8 hours from Shillong/Cherapunjee. This place has been recently discovered yet it has already become a tourist destination. And Wari Chora is just 30 km away from Bangladesh. Activities involved are boating and kayaking. We also offer visits to nearby tourist attraction locations like Re-nang Dare Falls and Chibok Dare, Bawe Durga and many more falls, Fish sanctuaries - Agnima Wari Fish Sanctuary and more places. Home stay & camping with delicious food is also provided.
