The closest major railway station is in Silapathar, Assam. From there, you can take a taxi or local transport to Basar, which is about 80-90 km away.
By Road
Basar is well-connected by road from towns like Aalo also called Along, Itanagar, and Dibrugarh. Assam State Transport ASTC and Arunachal State Transport APST buses frequently ply from these towns to Basar. Taxis are also available for a more comfortable journey.
