Glen Leu Farmstay is located in Sumbuk, a sleepy hamlet in South Sikkim that’s just 100 kms (or a 3-hour drive) from Siliguri, West Bengal and a 40-minute drive from Namchi, and 2 hour driver from Gangtok (65 kms). We are a family-run property, and have lovingly built this peaceful haven for those seeking to escape the stresses of city life and experience living on a farm, or to simply enjoy an outdoor getaway with family and friends. It is named after "Glen Leu Farm", a nursery established by our family in 1933. Our farmstay reflects the ambience of a typical Sikkimese village and farm set in 15 acres of lush pasture land with zero air and noise pollution. The Farmstay is nestled inside a 3-acre property which includes an orchard with orange groves, avocado trees, banana plants, guava, grapefruit and pear trees, a very old mango tree and mulberry trees. All of our cottages and rooms have attached bathrooms fitted with geysers for hot water supply, and are equipped with toiletries. Each room is also equipped with a room heater, fan, and a hot water kettle. The rooms also have a small seating area with a coffee table. Extra beds, writing tables and chairs can be provided.
