Mawlyngbna Travellers Nest

Mawlyngbna Traveller’s Nest is a community-run eco-tourism initiative located in the picturesque village of Mawlyngbna, nestled in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya. Established by the Mawlyngbna Multipurpose Cooperative Society, the homestay aims to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities to the local youth through tourism, while showcasing the rich natural and cultural heritage of the region. This property is at the end of the road. You have the city view on a 2 minutes walk from the cottage.

There are some interesting guided activities that you can do in Mawlyngbna including canyoning, swimming, walking through the stream (and an optional jumping off a cliff if you are up for it :) The guides can also organise a river trek and a split Rock cave trek. Mawsynaram, the wettest place on earth, is just 30 minutes away from Mawlyngbna.
