Yangkey Homestay Tawang

Yangkey Homestay (Home away from Home) is a great place to stay in Tawang. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The owner of the homestay, Sonam Aunty has a charming and strong personality who makes you eat yummy and delicious food made by her all the days. Aunty’s son Lobsen, is very friendly and knows many offbeat places in Tawang and other than the tourist spots. Yangkey Homestay has a total of three rooms, two are double occupancy, one is triple occupancy and all have attached bathrooms. The good part is that they provide heater in the rooms, which was very much required. The homestay is around 2 kms away from the main market. The homestay is close to the Tawang Monastery (Only 600 mtr) and and Giant Buddha Statue is just 1.2 KM. Guests will get introduced to Arunachal cuisine and beverages like chang-homemade wine which makes you feel warm in the cold weather, chutney and vegetable made out of yak milk cheese.
