Zenyor's Homestay Mechukha

Zenyor’s Homestay in Mechukha is perfect family run homestay offering some lovely food and hospitality at an amazing location in the heart of Arunachal Pradesh. The homestay is situated at an elevated area near Craft Centre of the town, allowing to view around. All the rooms at the homestay are well furnished. They have one double bed and one single bed covered with well cleaned white bed sheet and white covered blanket along with attached bath room. There is also a backup generator at the homestay incase electricity goes off (which is quite frequent in Mechuka).  The main attraction is the big central common room equipped with big size cable TV and Bukhari at the centre housing to sit around the Bukhari. In the evening it is very pleasant to enjoy the TV by sitting around the Bukhari, and eating delicious snacks with tea & roasted corn served by Mrs Bhani & Oi accompanied with the running commentary on the history of different tribes of Mechuka from Mr Pappu. The owners, Mr.Pappu, Mrs. Bhain and Ms. Oi are very accommodating and friendly and you will feel like you have known them for years. The food here is simple, homely, and delicious. They make great veg/non-veg dishes with local ingredients like Lai Patta, Bamboo shoot, and cabbage(that they grow in their own garden). We would highly recommend the pork curry made with lai patta with rice.  

Zenyor's Homestay is a really beautiful homestay felicitated by GoI under Atma Nivar India as Diamond homestay at Mechuka, One of the best homestays in Mechukha. Highly recommended.
