Know your HostThe Aritar Retreat located in Aritar, East Sikkim is a home away from home where you can sit back and enjoy nature at its finest. It is located at a beautiful serene place amidst nature with a great view and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms are very well maintained and they have a lot of open space to chill. Rooms are big and clean and service is great. It has geyser and big clean bathroom. The resort overviews a cliff where one can enjoy a golden sunset.
If you are traveling in a big group(8-12 people), then you can book the whole resort for yourself and spend some quality time there.
With the freshness of the morning dew, guests can experience the first soft ray of sunlight that falls on the sacred Mt. Khangchendzonga from Rochela or feel the nostalgic sunset from the Retreat’s own view point, from where you can also savour the magnificent view of the whole range of Mt. Khangchendzonga.
The Retreat also offers you with an experience that is wholly Sikkimese amidst a unique blend of ethnic and modern comforts without letting the aura of nature abandon you. Your choice of stay at Aritar Retreat can be opted from the various wood-panelled bedrooms or from the cosy cottages scattered around the Retreat’s rock-garden.

From your private balcony, take in the panoramic view of the surroundings, observe the awe-inspiring scenes of the countryside, be it the breath taking mountains high above or the local farmers in their terraced fields far below.
Meals are served in the Retreat’s spacious dining room in the main house but if guests prefer, then it is served outside in the lawns under garden umbrellas. The main house also offers a cosy living room with a fireplace where you can unwind in the evenings with a drink from the well-stocked bar. The main concept of The Aritar Retreat is to have you spend a holiday of your choice and all facilities are extended to enable you to fulfil it in style.
