Hidden Forest Retreat

Welcome to The Hidden Forest Retreat in Gangtok - the ultimate retreat for peace, tranquillity and harmony to rejuvenate your body and soul. The retreat is spread over an area of 3 acres, but we have only fourteen rooms. The intention of having less rooms and stressing more on the garden area is to ensure that the guests enjoy an ambience of nature in midst of busy city area nearby. We aim on making our few special guests enjoy the luxury of lush green garden with all kinds of trees, bamboos, ferns, flowers, shrubs, lilies and orchids with a variety of birds and butterflies making this their home. A veritable gift of nature's bounty brought within the ambit of a retreat.

Amidst this peaceful environment, the only sound you will hear is the chirping of the birds and sound of crickets. The luxury of this quiet retreat embraces the guests with the charm of an extremely private residence. It offers clean and elegant accommodation, coupled with genuine friendliness of a family run place.

The Hidden Forest is conveniently located at a distance of only three kilometers from the main Gangtok city centre. The entire Retreat is connected with stone paved pathways which lead up and down the hill into the dense forest and orchid garden. Benches are located along the forest area for those quiet moments fostering relaxation and good health. Your stay with us means you enjoy the "hidden forest" whilst living in great luxury.

We run it as a home-stay and it’s a family run property. All the rooms are the same with the view facing balcony with an attached bath room. We do not have intercoms in the rooms and a running restaurant- we serve wherever is cooked looking at dietary restrictions.

If any, In a room two adults are accommodated; the extra bed is only for children. Plenty of running taxis are available in the front gate. Highly recommended if you are looking for a peaceful nature retreat in Gangtok, Sikkim.
