Perched amidst the lush hills of Barfung near Ravangla, the Tree House – The Hidden Cabin at Lenzila Retreat offers a secluded escape in nature’s lap. Surrounded by dense forest and panoramic mountain views, this cozy wooden cabin is ideal for couples and nature lovers seeking serenity and a unique offbeat experience. Ravangla can be easily reached by air by taking a flight to the nearest airport- Bagdogra in Siliguri, West Bengal. The airport is around 129 km away and it takes approximately 4-5 hours to reach from the airport. One can hire a private cabtaxi or can even opt for a shared taxi.
The good news is that Sikkim has now got its own airport- Pakyong Airport, which will directly connect it with the major cities of India once it’s fully operational. The airport is located in Pakyong village which is around 35 km from south of Gangtok.
By Train
The nearest railway station from Ravangla is the New Jalpaiguri in Siliguri, West Bengal. It is around 122 kilometers from Ravangla.
By Road
A good network of roads connects Ravangla with the major cities of Sikkim and other destinations of northeast India. One can easily reach Ravangla from the neighbouring places by road. Ravangla is located 68 km from Gangtok and the most convenient way to reach Ravangla is to first come to Gangtok and then from there drive down to Ravangla. Rented taxis and state-run buses are easily available to reach Ravangla.
