Best time to visit Mangan?
The best time to visit Mangan is between March and May and October to December. The weather is pleasant, with clear skies offering stunning views of the Himalayas. Avoid the monsoon season (June to August) due to heavy rainfall and landslides.

Many guests travel to North Sikkim (Lachen, Lachung) from Gangtok and return back to Gangtok after two nights. Mangan is a great stopover on the 3rd day as it falls midway between Chungthang and Gangtok. Guests are really tired after their hectic North Sikkim trip and staying in Mangan on the way back can be a big relief as it is closer. If your flight or train is late next day, you can even go to Siliguri directly from Mangan via Dikchu, Singtam.
