• Cash: While some establishments in Tura might accept digital payments, it's advisable to carry sufficient cash, especially   when traveling to smaller towns and villages in the West Garo Hills. ATMs are available in Tura but might not be as widespread in rural areas.
• Connectivity: Mobile network connectivity can be patchy in some remote areas. Don't rely heavily on constant internet access.
• Power: Power outages can occur. Consider carrying a portable charger for your electronic devices. 
• Pack Accordingly: Pack comfortable walking shoes, light clothing for the day, and a light jacket or sweater for cooler evenings. If visiting during the monsoon, carry rain gear.
