Tour Itinerary

Guwahati - Cherrapunjee
Day - 1

Guwahati - Cherrapunjee

Drive from Guwahati Airport to Sohra. On the way stop by at Umiam Lake for a view of the mesmerizing lake. Stop by at Elephant Falls and spend a relaxing time at the falls. Continue towards Sohra.
Drive Time: 4.5 hrs
Accommodation: Sohra Plaza / Sai Mika / Cascade Homestay

Cherrapunjee Sightseeing
Day - 2

Cherrapunjee Sightseeing

Drive to Dainthlen Falls which is about 25 mins and enjoy the view right from the top of the waterfall. There are small pools where you can dip your feet as you sip on hot chai. Start trekking towards Wei Saw Dong Falls, the first 20 mins of the trek is easy after which there will be a 15 min downhill trek through steps made from bamboo to reach the beautiful triple decker waterfall. Spend time enjoying the crystal clear water. Head back to the homestay.

Cherrapunjee Sightseeing
Day - 3

Cherrapunjee Sightseeing

Drive for 30 mins to reach the first waterfall Lyngksiar. The next waterfall is Janailar Falls and the last is Mawsawa falls where you can sit under the waterfall to experience mother nature's shower. These three waterfalls are located near the homestay and are less frequented by the normal tourist crowd. All the three places have mini pools below them where you can swim to your heart's content.
All the waterfalls are located within 15 mins of each other and all of them require a small 10 min trek to reach them.

Cherrapunjee - Nohkalikai Falls
Day - 4

Cherrapunjee - Nohkalikai Falls

Head on towards Nohkalikai Falls which is a 30 min drive. If weather permits you can trek all the way to the edge of the waterfall and admire the lush green hills surrounding the waterfall.
Drive towards the famous Seven Sisters Waterfall. Check in at the homestay. Spend the late afternoon at Thangkharang Park where you will visit Kynrem Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India.
Head back to the homestay for the overnight halt.

Cherrapunjee - Dawki - Jowai
Day - 5

Cherrapunjee - Dawki - Jowai

Take an early morning drive towards Dawki which is 2 hrs away and visit Bophill Falls. Head out to Krang Suri Falls which is a 1 hr drive. Enjoy the natural beauty and clear water of the falls and the pool below. Weather permitting you can trek beneath the waterfall to enjoy a cool refreshing shower.
Head towards Tyrshi Inn in Jowai for the overnight stay. Accommodation: Tyrshi Inn

Jowai - Shillong
Day - 6

Jowai - Shillong

Depart for Shillong which is a 2 hr drive and spend the day exploring the Rock Capital of India and indulge in some shopping and street food.

Shillong - Drop To Guwahati
Day - 7

Shillong - Drop To Guwahati
