Triple State Tour

Arrivve at Guwahati airport in Assam and head up to Shillong in Meghalaya. Our car will be waiting to pick you up at the aiport and take you to your guest house in Shillong. 

Drive Time : 3 hours approx

Explore Cherrapunji and the nearby areas. The guide will meet you at your guest house in the morning. Do sit with him for some time to understand the various options you have at Cherrapunji and then decide on what interests you the most. He will then fix an optimal route for the day. 

A short guided walk around Shillong town - visit to the Don Bosco Museum. The museum visit will be at least 3 hours long as it has seven floors and covers all the states of the north east. Explore the local market and shops. 

Head to your resort in Kaziranga. Our car will be waiting to pick you up and take you to your resort in Kaziranga. There is no other plans for the day as you will be tired from the long journey.

Early morning start the elephant safari at Kaziranga and jeep safari in the afternoon. Breakfast will be provided at the camp itself and you can finish other jungle activities that you may have selected for your day. Maihang is a traditional Assamese food restaurant not too far away from the hotel. You could either consider eating there, or you could ask the hotel to give you a sampler of traditional Assamese food.

Have a hearty breakfast and start driving from Kaziranga. Head out for Dimapur and reach Kohima in the evening. Check in your hotel. No other plans for the day as you would be tired from the long journey.

After breakfas, take a short guided walk around Kohima Town - Explore the local market and shops followed by our signature World War II tour at the Commonwealth War Cemetery to learn how a fierce battle between the allies and Japanese along with the Indian National Army impacted the couse of World's history. Later, have lunch at a cafe in town followed by a visit to the local market. For the more adventurous, we take you to see the exotic food that the Nagas are famous for. Post lunch, 

Start your day with an early breakfast and then depart for you trek to Dzukou Valley. Have a picnic lunch at the location and head back to Kohima. Arrive at the start point of your trek where your transport will be waiting for you with some hot tea. Later, return to your hotel and have dinner.

Have your breakfast at the residence and departure to Khonoma Village. Your guide will meet you at Khonoma Village and about all the battles that they have had in the past. Head up to the forestead areas where you might get to spot the Mithun. You can have lunch either at the forest rest stop or at Dzulekie, where you can also go for a short wlak by the stream. Dzulekie will take you about 30 minutes each way from Khonoma Village. Head back to Kohima in the evening and head to your guest house to freshen up.

After having your breakfast at the hotel, check-out and then head straight to Dimapur Airport. On the way down to Dimapur, there is a shop called Chapru where you can stop for a coffee and also to pick up some last minute stuff before heading home.
