Serenity Travellers Inn is a very relaxed and calm homestay in Sohra (Cherrapunji) away from all the crowds and tourists. The units in the inn are equipped with a flat-screen TV. Rooms are big and neat. The homestay has good spacious rooms and clean bathroom/ toilets. Room prices are reasonable and affordable. You get a beautiful and mesmerizing valley view from your balconies. The rooms are not premium but they were equipped with all the basic facilities. Although the service takes a little longer than expected, it doesn't detract from an overall positive experience. The hospitality and cleanliness will make your stay pleasant and memorable. Location is quite peaceful and close to Nohkalikai falls. They also have a restaurant where they serve breakfast and dinner for in-house guests. Overall would recommend anyone who is looking for a budget and clean homestay in Sohra (Cherrapunji).

Guwahati acts as the nearest railhead to Cherrapunji. Although it lies at a distance of 181 km from this region, bus serviceor taxis can be availed from the railway station. Guwahati railway station is well connected to the entire country and regular trains carry passengers to and fro.
By Road
Buses for Cherrapunji leave from the Sohra Bus Stand in the Bara Bazaar area of Shillong.
