Sohra Plaza is a comfortable guesthouse in Cherrapunji/Sohra tucked beside a small rivulet in a valley between two hills. The approach road off the main road, to the property is under developed, although it leads to many other hotels and resorts. The guesthouse is a cottage with 5 rooms. Drinks though not served, if brought, may be enjoyed privately. Bathrooms are slightly small. There is a small restaurant at the property with a limited menu. Guwahati acts as the nearest railhead to Cherrapunji. Although it lies at a distance of 181 km from this region, bus serviceor taxis can be availed from the railway station. Guwahati railway station is well connected to the entire country and regular trains carry passengers to and fro.
By Road
Buses for Cherrapunji leave from the Sohra Bus Stand in the Bara Bazaar area of Shillong.
