Serene Resort

Serene Resort in Cherrapunji is a hidden gem located on the way to Dainthlen falls with an outstanding host, Richmond. The room service is excellent, ensuring a comfortable stay.  Rooms are not too big but the washrooms are clean. The view outside the rooms is splendid. They have comfortable sofas inside the rooms. Food and other services are really good. The resort has a big cafeteria type dining place where you can enjoy your foods and drinks.  The open backyard is beautiful with a big mountain view with huge rocks and a small river.  A fireplace is there in the reception lobby which is just like a cherry on top of a cake. A swimming pool is there but in cold weather it may not be enjoyable. Car parking facility is there with the driver's accommodation.
Planty open space is there so children also can enjoy there, play and have some fun. Electricity is a problem in Cherrapunji. They have genarator backup but it's not an uninterrupted service. Geyser available in the western toilet but due to electricity problem it's not functional every time . Entrance Road to this resort is not that good but the Location of the property is good. 7 sisters waterfall, Mosmai cave, Sohra town all are very near.
