Valley View Homestay

Valley View Homestay  is situated at Sohra-Laitkynsew Road in Cherrapunji about 5.2 kms from the centre. The property has 4 rooms with attached bathroom and features a flat screen TV and a garden. It is about 25 minutes on foot from Eco Park and less than 10 minutes drive away from  Ramakrishna Mission Ashram. The areas around the property is gorgeous for short walks. If you want to have lunch or dinner you will have to tell them in advance like 4-5 hours ago in case they need to purchase something to prepare the food, they will have to go out and get the food items from the market(like chicken). Secondly, their food quantity (breakfast) has limited quantity. But the available staff provided us with extra quantity on demand. Thirdly, as a guest you can walk outside the premise after 10. It is one of their rules (however it's already dark like midnight and you may not want to walk outside the premise). Lastly and most importantly, the view outside the homestay is breathtaking. In the morning you can see a clear sunrise mesmerizing view of the valley. 

Excellent hosts, exceptionally well maintained and clean rooms, homely food, makes Valley View Homestay one of the best stay in Cherrapunji.
